Gorillas and Pygmies in Congo Basin

FCM just spent two weeks in the Congo Basin tropical forests filming BAKA! Pygmies and lowland gorillas (although the gorillas were more elusive!). The short film celebrating the Year of the Forest is for WWF and IUCN.
The shooting conditions were very tough with thick forest, rain and red mud. Most of our time was spent hacking through undergrowth with the sound of Chimpanzees and Gorillas fleeing. We will shoot again in June and hope to have more luck with the Wildlife having learned valuable lessons this shoot.
